Issa #Throwback! Months ago, MTN Nigeria must have called a Cool Kids assembly, because thousands of cool kids of varying ages gathered in their numbers at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, that housed the mPulse Planet.
mPulse is MTN Nigeria’s new proposition for tweens and teens between the ages of nine(9) and sixteen (16) that combines learning, fun and technology in a very user-friendly web-app. So the children came ready to have fun to immense levels.
One of the most beautiful moments was when boy wonder, Waris Kareem of Waspa Art (he had first stunned us when he drew President of France, Emmanuel Macron, at the Afrika Shrine) showed Chidinma, Nigeria’s pop princess, the portrait he had been working on.
Waris had begun work on the drawing that same morning and it was humbling to see what he had done in just a few hours. Chidinma could hardly hold in her excitement and the reason was very obvious, Waris had put amazing on paper!
