President Muhammadu Buhari has been called upon to release Shiite leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky who has been in custody for more than 900 days.

Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, otherwise known as Shi’ites, have taken their protest to the Presidential Villa to mark the 1,000th day in detention of their leader Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his wife.
The members are calling for the release of the cleric who has been kept in custody for more than 900 days.
