Royal Malc Int’l in partnership with Emvirtue Network has announced the Royal Baby Awards. The official announcement which took place at a press conference had the CEOs of both organizations field questions from the press as to what the project is about.
The CEO of Royal Malc Int’l and founder of the project Uju Anyaegbu Nduba revealed that “the Royal Baby Award is a photo competition for babies within the ages of 0-3years. Royal Baby Awards is designed to celebrate the precious moments of infancy and the joy of childhood and parenthood. It was conceived on the idea that we all can amount to greatness at any and every stage of life”.
She further reiterated that the competition will be done via SMS and online voting. There would be three stages of elimination before the eventual winner emerges. The contestant with the highest number of combined SMS and online votes at the end of the last stage becomes the Royal Baby of the Year 2019 and will be crowned at a live main event. Registration commenced at 9am, Monday, 1st of October, 2018 and ends at 11:59pm Sunday, 30th December 2018 while voting will start 9am Tuesday January 1st 2019 and end with the grand finale on Saturday 30th of March 2019.
Uju enthused that a total of 3.5million Naira and an extra 100 thousand naira will be won in the competition. In her own words, she said “This is huge considering the fact that we just tuned up the stakes beyond what others are doing. The Winner will go with 1.5 million Naira cash prize. The 1st Runner up – 1 million Naira cash prize, and the 2nd runner up - 500,000 Naira. Other categories to be awarded include: Great personality - 100,000 Naira, Alluring smile - 100,000 Naira, Most creative photo - 100,000 Naira, Most fashionable – 100,000 Naira. Most distinguished – 100,000 Naira, and Most viewed YouTube video – 100,000 Naira”.
The CEO of Emvirtue Network, Emmanuel Ezima was ecstatic when he said “We are confident that this project will serve as the veritable first choice in children empowerment across the country and we are determined to deliver a free, fare, transparent and excellent contest that we can all be proud of.
